The Eastern Partnership(EaP) is an agreement, which European Union made with post-Soviet countries, such as Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Armenia at the Prague summit (7 May 2009). Since the post-Cold War political conflict between energy supplier and transit country has caused a disruption in the energy demand and supply of the European Union as a consumer. The European Union tries to ensure the stability of the energy supply and appropriate controls to transportation pipelines through strengthening cooperation with the Eastern Partnership countries. In this paper, I studied what is the EaP and its purpose and its current progress situation at the chapter Ⅱ, and analysed which strategic significance has each country of Eastern Partnership members to the European Union in the energy security perspective at the chapter Ⅲ. I also analyzed what are the attitudes and reactions of Russia to these policies of EU at the chapterⅣ.
